This site is primarily for people that live within reasonable driving distance of Centralia, IL, pretty much most of Southern IL, that want to buy or sell items to others in the region. No seller is obligated to ship, and pay is to be collected upon receipt of the item. So, if you are in California, I doubt you'll want to drive to Illinois for your purchase.

In order to sell on the site you must open a store. It doesn't cost anything.

It is, but the software was designed with the option of charging. We've set everything to 0.00 cost.

If you want to list an item but the category doesn't exist for it right now. You can list your item in the nearest appropriate category, and go to the selling section in the Members area, and select suggest category. Once we review your suggestion, we will probably add, or point you to a category that already exists.

This site is for regional sales in the Southern Illinois area, as such the only shipping option required is for local pickup.

All sales on kloppy.com are by default cash transactions at the time of pick up. You can contact your seller and they may allow you to pay another way, but they don't have to. It's best to ask first if this a requirement for your purchasing an item.

It's because the software is capable of both auctions and fixed price only (Store mode). We have it set to Store mode, which only allows fixed price items. If demand developed for the auction format to be activated, it may be done at a later time.
